Medicinal Effects of Olive Oil

Olive oil has many medicinal properties. Regular consumption of olive oil protects against coronary disease by reducing the levels of fibrinogen in the blood. It controls cholestrol levels and inhibits the oxidation of lipoproteins. Olive oil has been shown to reduce the risk of breast cancer and promotes liver and gallbladder function. Olive oil also serves as a mild laxative especially when taken on an empty stomach. Daily consumption of olive oil is a great way to stay healthy!
