Benefits of Green Tea

Green tea is a powerful antioxidant. Catechins are a flavonoid found in Green tea, one in particular called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) are best known for their heart-protective effects, including the lowering of cholestrol, inhibition of platelet clumping, and protection of LDL against oxidation. Daily consumption of a high-quality Green tea has proven to reduce and prevent the risk of oxidative stress.
