Benefits of Pomegranate

The pomegranate is originally from the Near East, from where it spread throughout the Mediterranean. It is presently grown in Iran, Turkey, Mediterranean countries and hot regions on the American continent such as Brazil and California. Pomegranates are rich in vitamins C, E, and B6 and have significant amounts of B1, B2, and niacin. The most abundant minerals are potassium, copper, and iron. Pomegrantes have been known to help with the following conditions:
  • Intestinal disorders
  • Intestinal parasites
  • Excess stomach acid
  • Anemia
  • Arteriosclerosis
  • Hypertension
  • Metabolic disorders
