Reasons for Weight Gain

People gain weight for many different reasons. It can be extremely frustrating when you are dieting and exercising and are still not losing weight. The following is a list of contributing factors that maybe inhibiting your weight loss:
  • Underactive thyroid function (Hypothyroidism)
  • Overgrowth of Candida or yeast
  • Presence of parasites
  • Allergies, sensitivities or intolerances to foods, the outer environment and the inner environment ( including human relationships)
  • Chemical sensitivity or intolerances
  • Constipation and other digestive disorders
  • Liver or gall bladder under-function or congestion issues
  • Stress or the inability to deal with stressful situations
  • Emotional connections to food or relationships
