Risks of Sedentary Lifestyle

People who are physically fit have a fourfold lower risk of premature mortality due to cancer than the risk level of individuals who lack physical fitness. Research for cancer patients show that exercise, walking, and yoga programs improve quality of life, lessen fatigue, reduce symptoms associated with treatment, and enhance social functioning. Lifestyle changes have also been shown to reduce inflammation. Implementing lifestyle changes is a great way to prevent chronic diseases.
