Benefits of Resveratrol

Resveratrol has proven to:
  • reduce inflammation and increase levels of the anti-inflammatory nitric oxide (NO)
  • have antioxidant properties
  • reduce LDL oxidation
  • improve endothelial dysfunction
  • improve the ability of the blood vessels to relax and widen when needed
  • reduce atherosclerosis (in animals)
  • reduce total cholestrol, LDL, and triglycerides
  • protect telomeres and slow the aging of the arteries
  • help reduce body fat
  • lower glucose and improve insulin resistance
Resveratrol should only be taken in the form of trans-resveratrol 250-350mg per day is the recommended dosage.
