Baking Soda for Alkalinity

Did you know that baking soda is helpful for alleviating allergies, anxiety, colds, fatigue, infections, memory loss, osteoporosis, weight gain, and much more. Susan Lark, MD, in The Doctor's Treasury of New Healing Choices, states that baking soda reverses over acidic conditions and that stress, toxic foods and environments contribute to acid-causing processes. It is important that 70-80 percent of the diet consist of alkaline-forming foods (primarily vegetables and fruits) and that excessive amounts of acid-forming foods (such as meats, refined sugars, and grains) be avoided. Taking 1/4-1/2 tsp of baking soda in a glass of pure mineral or spring water and drink twice a day. Balancing the body's pH can help to increase energy, more stamnia, better digestion, clearer thinking, better sleep, and reduce the risk of cancer.
